The new V-line: pressure and temperature transmitter compact and precise

The pressure and temperature transmitters of the LABOM V-line are characterized by a compact and user-friendly design that makes them extremely easy to operate.
As standard the devices provide an output signal of 4…20 mA in 2-wire technology with HART® protocol. The GV4 transmitter for temperature has an accuracy of 0.1 K in a temperature range of -50°C to 250°C. It is designed for invasive measurement in pipelines and vessels. In addition, using a patented clamp-on technology the instrument is also suitable for non-invasive highly hygienic temperature measurement.
The PASCAL CV4 pressure transmitter is available for nominal ranges of 250 mbar to 400 bar relative pressure and nominal ranges of 1 to 16 bar absolute pressure. The accuracy of the transmitter amounts to 0.15% and a turndown of up to 20:1 is possible. The concept of the device was specifically developed to satisfy the widely diverse demands of the pharmaceutical and food industries. It offers numerous hygienic process connections and is available with the complete range of LABOM diaphragm seals.
Based on proven sensor elements, the SIL-compliant devices and software architecture for the V-line were further developed. Both V-line devices combine a very compact construction with the largest possible display. A special quick setup feature simplifies speedy installation and configuration of the devices. The intuitive 4-button operation assists the user with a dialog window that optionally can be set to English or German language on a high-resolution and well-illuminated dot-matrix display.
LABOM is presenting these new devices to the public for the first time at the ACHEMA in Hall 11.1, Stand F46 and is looking forward to welcoming interested visitors.
