New valve island Type 8653 AirLINE Field introduced
25 November 2019
Bürkert’s new valve island field module Type 8653 AirLINE Field makes an important contribution to decentralized automation – completely without a control cabinet.
Closer to the action – with Type 8653 AirLINE Field
The new valve island Type 8653 AirLINE Field is a compact, pre-assembled modular unit which, unlike conventional valve islands, can also be used outside the control cabinet thanks to its IP 65/67 degree of protection, thereby enabling installation in even closer proximity to the process valve.
This not only optimises compressed air consumption in the process but also reduces the costs associated with long hose connections and hygienic control cabinet housings.
Compared to conventional valve islands, AirLINE Field requires significantly less space in your plant, opening up entirely new opportunities for installing pneumatic pilot valves in the field.
Diagnostic functions always in view
The integrated LC display facilitates commissioning and error diagnostics. This provides you with rapid information on the device status of your pilot and process valves. Further, diagnostic messages can be sent to the higher-level controller. This allows you to monitor the plant status at any time.
Reliable processes at field level
Standard check valves in the exhaust air ducts prevent the process valves from switching unintentionally during pressure peaks.
In addition, communication in a closed ring topology contributes to the stability of the plant, thus ensuring greater process reliability.
Your advantages at a glance
- Flexibility in planning the plant thanks to installation in close proximity to the valve
- Easy commissioning and maintenance
- Increased process reliability
