Process Instruments have an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Process Instrument Sales Engineer to join our expanding team based in our offices in Woolpit, Bury St Edmunds.

The successful applicant will be a methodical and thorough individual already studying or looking to study a relevant engineering qualification.

Working internally initially, you will be supporting the external team in preparing technical quotations, taking ownership of customer enquiries and handling the process right through to order delivery, ensuring accuracy and timeliness throughout the process. You will learn relevant skills in order to progress your knowledge in the process instrumentation and engineering industry.

Familiarisation with MicroSoft Word, Excel & Outlook is important along with the use of CRM (customer relationship management software) which are central to our day to day business. The ability to communicate clearly, the ability to work in a team environment and working in a tidy workspace are also areas we value.

There will be regular opportunities to undertake training alongside your apprenticeship and many different progression routes that you could take, including into a Technical Sales role, an External Sales Engineer role or a hands-on site-based Process Engineer role.
